I was pleasantly surprised to see you doing so well, after all these years. So you did end up in journalism.<BR/>Just wanted to comment on one thing. In this very well written article of yours, you describe taqlid as "Blind following, of the four schools of Sunni law". Since you wrote this without quotations, i assumed this is what you really think taqlid is."blind following", its goes without saying, has negative and primitive conotations. It is kind of ironice because I remember having discussions of taqlid and following the madhaibs with you and you always defended it eloquently. Has there been a departure of some sort from you views back from Zaytuna days? I know one phrase doesn't serve as a verdict, but its a pretty louded one phrase.<BR/>Talking of ironies, I have ended up in Amman Jordan, right next to Sheikh Nuh's neighborhood!! I am not a mureed though.
